Hi, I’m Carolyn. I’m a mother of two young children. I help people, but especially parents of young children increase their energy, teach their children healthy eating habits and uplift their emotional health and intelligence so that they can feel good, be happier, fully enjoy life, and contribute more positively to society and uplift those around them.
Even before I became a parent, I knew I wanted to avoid health struggles that were keeping others from living a completely fulfilling life. So, I became a voracious reader of health and nutrition books, articles and blogs. I’ve taken extensive courses in herbology, nutrition and chemistry, physiology and anatomy. I’ve also taken courses and read many books relating to emotional well-being. I’ve read a ton of parenting books and some coaching books. Basically, if I think it is going to help me be a better person, a healthier person, a better parent and have happier, healthier kids, I’m interested in learning it and applying it to my life.
I’m sharing all my knowledge because I quickly grew tired of hearing other parents complain about their kids sucking the energy out of them, having mood swings, feeling like they couldn't live without multiple cups of coffee per day, dreading when the kids were home on spring break or summer vacation and otherwise not enjoying the treasures they have and the limited time they have spending with them at such a young, impressionable age. I grew frustrated seeing many people with so many health troubles that could be avoided or reversed using dietary and lifestyle changes. As such, I have found it my mission to share with parents how to eat healthier and have healthier lifestyle habits that their children would ultimately learn from them. I am also passionate about emotional well-being as it applies to young, impressionable children as I think that is a vital part of growing up and how successful we become as adults.
So, if you’re interested in learning how I’ve figured out how to have energy to keep up with my kids all day long, avoid mood swings, deepen my relationship with my husband, keep my house in order, prepare three healthy meals a day, blog every week, tend my large garden... all while maintaining and improving my sanity, health and enjoyment in life, stick with me and we’ll live happy, healthy, enjoyable lives together and set that example and baseline for our children.
